Hi I'm Kelsey! I am the human behind Sleep Tight Little Dreamer. I am mom & dog mom, wife, Certified Child Life Specialist, and Pediatric Sleep Coach. My career has been spent working in children’s hospitals, supporting children and their families through challenging times, with a focus on improving coping and fostering healthy development. 

 

As a mom, I found myself in the same sleepless trenches—spending countless nights searching the internet for answers. But instead of clarity, I found myself overwhelmed and confused by conflicting advice. That experience inspired me to combine my professional background and personal journey to help other families navigate sleep struggles with clarity and confidence.

Kelsey's Sleep Approach

I use a gentle, responsive sleep training method called Association Fading. This approach is designed to improve your child’s sleep in just 3 nights—without leaving your child alone in their room. It’s a customizable method that focuses on all the key factors of sleep while working with your baby’s natural, unique patterns to help them fall asleep faster—all through a developmentally appropriate lens.

The best part? You’re right there with your child, offering comfort and support as they learn new skills. This builds lifelong, healthy sleep habits that truly last.

Every sleep plan is thoughtfully individualized to your child’s age, personality, and developmental needs. I’ll work closely with you to create a plan that feels right for your family, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

If I could give Kelsey over 5 stars, I would. She was there every step of the way, guiding us through a somewhat difficult, but extremely rewarding process. At the beginning, she did an in person meeting to go over the guide to help prepare & educate my husband & I on the process. She made us feel at ease knowing that teaching this valuable skill is not only beneficial for us & our lifestyle, but also a lifelong skill for our baby. Before using Kelsey’s guide, my infant used to wake up minimum once, but sometimes 2, 3, or even 4 times through the night. He has now slept 12 hours for 4 nights in a row after 1.5 weeks of Kelsey’s guide. He went from needing to be rocked to sleep with each nap or bedtime (and usually waking shortly after once transferred to his crib), to falling asleep on his own in his crib (and staying asleep). Along the way we had questions, and Kelsey was available a phone call or text away. She was informative, helpful, and encouraging. She was knowledgeable in her answers & solution based. She kept us on track in the moments where we wanted to give up. She even adjusted his schedule when she noticed certain patterns in his sleep throughout the day. My husband & I feel like we have a piece of our lives back with more balance, and are able to enjoy the times we share with our son even more now as a rested family. And even better we noticed his demeanor is more even keeled throughout the day, seeming less bothered & more calm. We cannot thank Kelsey enough for providing us with the tools to effectively teach us and our son how to properly sleep and to sleep well!
